  December '98 Challenge

"The local animal shelter was the focus of this
classroom's Challenge and it truly brought the
class and the community together. Review this
Challenge to see the student-designed web site
to showcase dogs available for adoption. The
community is linking to their web site. They also
are involved in fundraising and public
awareness campaigns in this ongoing project.
Students exceeded their expectations by not
only learning about animal control problems but
also finding ways of becoming part of the
   solution."
